As knew residents in grindley it could be said that we should not comment ,due to the fact Mr Podmores gallop unofficially existed before we moved here ,,but we have been asked to comment and so we shall,, even though ,we are being victimised by Mr Podmore and is family ,,verbally abused ,,and threatened ,,as Mr Podmore said in is own words they are intent on making are lives hell ..and as mentioned before we know even more manure will be unkindly delivered and dumped in front of are property by Mr Podmore and his family for making these comments., which makes the planning application a non judicial process,, but stafford borough council are intent on going ahead with the planning application regardless,,,are reasons for objecting are four fold , firstly as previously mentioned we have planning permission for a new build dwelling (house) which will directly face the proposed gallop ,the gallop will be in front of the building line ,,if we wished to construct are own gallop in front of are property (building line) it would contravene building regulations ,,so why are stafford borough council even considering the proposed gallop ?,,. Secondly ,we have concerns about the county councils flood teams conditions on drainage , . Mr Podmore and family have purposely blocked one of the drains in question with the intentions of flooding our property ,.so we would like to know how can a under funded / due to cut backs and austerity measures/ stafford county council enforce and police there own flood teams conditions ,,with out the resources to take legal action against Mr Podmore if he fails to meet the conditions, the conditions are not worth the paper they are written on ,.
Thirdly only approximately 37 percent of the earths land mass is arable,,all of which is certainly going to be needed at some point in the future to feed the earths rapidly expanding human population ,so the change of usage of any fertile arable land with out good reason should be considered carefully ,,the land in question I am guessing is approximately 10 acres of prime fertile arable land ,,the proposed change of usage is for the construction of a gallop for the training of a few horses for a amateur sport ,which can hardly be described has a good reason ,and we consider it disproportionate ..Are fourth reason for objecting is simply that as previously mentioned Mr Podmore and his family have promised to make are lives hell, thankfully the land in question which is adjacent to the front of our property is at present Solely agricultural, which slightly restricts the amount of torment and misery mr Podmore and his family can inflict on us, if stafford borough council where to grant change of usage for the pre mentioned land ,stafford borough council will be basically assisting Mr Podmore and family in there pursuit ,of making are lives hell.

We live at Small Farm Grindley we object to this development as we have planning permission for a replacement dwelling reference number 13/18428/FUL. The front elevation of which directly faces the proposed gallop. The track will be in front of the building line, although work has not started on the new dwelling at present. We are planning to commence work in the near future. If Mr Podmore is given permission to build the track it will significantly reduce the value of the finished property making it an unviable project. There will be an impact on privacy as the chariots will be in close proximity to the front of the house.
Also We feel that we must comment on the threats and abuse that Mr and Mrs Podmore and Tom Podmore are continuing to subject us to. We have a 20 plus foot high mound of manure directly opposite our front door. In spite of a request from the authority to remove it. Mr Podmore has filled in an essential ditch subjecting us to flooding in the event of flash flood weather. Therefore we feel that other neighbours may feel too intimidated to object to this track deeming it a none democratic decision.
